Wado-Ryu Heiwa Dojo

A béke útja – the path of peace

Wado-Ryu karate for adults in Buda, in the small gym of Szilágyi Erzsébet Gimnázium (a secondary school). We practise on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6–8 pm, and beginners are welcome.

Karate with harmony instead of force

Wado-Ryu is the karate of Master Hironori Ohtsuka, a style born from jujutsu and karate. It is full of evasion, body turning and stepping aside, so defence and counter-attack can happen at the same time. The aim of practice is peace and harmony, which are harder to achieve than victory by force.
